A 6’3’ elf with a tan complexion, brown hair and eyes. He is stout for an elf and wields a slender, heavy war hammer and a bow.
Twenty years ago, Galronod lived in a small outpost of a colony of elves living in Gan, to the South of Greater Harad. During a trading trip in the hills to the south of the Tur Betark mountains, the caravan Galrond was travelling with was attacked and nearly wiped out by a group of men and orcs. He and the few survivors were led away into slavery. He was brought north over the mountains and forced to work in rock quarries in the hills of Chennacatt. During this time, he saw many slaves die in the heat. His heritage occasionally drew attention from taskmasters, but his unusual strength sustained him. Considering this time a temporary setback, he did his best to keep from being killed out of hand and learned a few tricks to keep himself alive. After ten years of labor, he was suddenly bought by a human caravan master named Garlan Det. The quarrymaster was delighted at the price he fetched, which seemed to him to be several times Galrond’s worth. After a time of recovery, Garlan gave Galrond his freedom under the condition that he work off his purchase price as a caravan guard. Galrond spent the next three years with Garland Det and has more than paid for his freedom. Galrond considers Garlan Det to be both a trustworthy being, and personal friend. While working with Garlan’s caravans, Galrond learned that the slavers who captured him operate with legal legitimacy under Clan Bulgan, the current rulers of Greater Harad. In the years before Clan Bulgan’s takeover, slavery was not allowed and the historically rightful rulers, Clan Masra, even had good political/economic relations with the elfish nation of Gan. Galrond now sees it as his duty to do whatever he can to bring about the destruction of Clan Bulgan and he has vowed to avenge his imprisonment at their hands. Galrond recently retired from service to Garlan Det. Garlan mentioned to Galrond that a man known as Shalazar in Tyarrett might have some work suitable for one with Galrond’s talents. He has gone to Tyarrett to seek him out.
