A 6’1” elf, tan in coloration, brown hair and eyes and rather drab clothing. He is slim of build and carries bola, a short sword, and a composite bow.
Harrogoth is from an elven nation called Gan. Gan is a forested area just south of the Tur Betark Mountains. The elves there are worried because the Mezin-Tarb, or might lord, of Greater Harad to the north has broken political and economic relations and stopped all patrolling of the trade routes in and near the Tur Betark. The few caravans that manage the trip are very large and very well armed. All others run a great risk of bandit attack. To make matters worse, a rumor has been circulating that Gan might be the target of military expansion from Greater Harad. It is known that, a few years ago, the current rulers of Greater Harad, Clan Bulgan, overthrew the historically rightful rulers, Clan Masra. Since then the safety of the region has deteriorated. Seeking to assess the situation, and possibly discover and assist any supporters of Clan Masra, a few elves have been sent to Greater Harad from Gan. Seeking the thrill of adventure, Harrogoth volunteered to go. Living for years near the edge of Gan, he has been an active hunter all his life. He is practiced in the art of stalking and hiding and, though somewhat capable of defending himself, his preferred method of operation is that of a scout. He prefers to use his bola and/or bow at range rather than closing and using his short sword. In general, Harrogoth doesn’t enjoy stealing; instead, he seeks to develop into a master of infiltration and surprise. To aid him on his journeys, he has aquired a couple of special items. He have been given a chain mail shirt that encumbers as a soft leather shirt due to its high-quality construction. He also has an heirloom, a belt that allows him to perform an assisted leap once per day. To initiate his effort to locate and discover supporters of Clan Masra, Harrogoth was sent to seek employment from a human named Shalazar in the city of Tyarrett. Shalazar is known to be a trustworthy human on friendly terms with the people of Gan. Going through the Tur Betark Mountains in a large caravan to Tul Isra, he has taken the Yol Tyarrett and arrived in Tyarrett.
